Distinctive Cabinetry & Design began in 2002 when we moved to the high country from Statesville, NC. Previously, we had owned and operated the Animal Hospital of Statesville for 35 years, serving Lake Norman, Mooresville and Iredell County. While this path to the kitchen and bath business is a bit unique, it has been a path that has prepared us well. Our veterinary clients and their pets needed close, personal care, a high level of skill and devoted service. That same commitment to competence, integrity and individual attention continues to be the basis of our current business philosophy.

Since forming Distinctive Cabinetry & Design, we have assembled a very talented and dedicated staff.  Our daughter-in-law, Leah Parks joined us in 2005 and is a certified Associate NKBA Kitchen and Bath Designer. That makes us the ONLY kitchen and bath studio with her level of credentials in North Carolina’s High Country. It also makes us better qualified to serve your unique needs from start to finish. In 2007, our son, John, came aboard as co-designer and project manager. John rounded out our family enterprise and greatly enhanced our customer service and quality control profile.

At Distinctive Cabinetry & Design, we have our own line of custom cabinetry built to our specifications by Touchstone Fine Cabinetry in Rutherfordton, NC.  We also represent several other nationally known custom lines like Wood-Mode, Custom Cupboards and Koch Cabinetry. This gives you the largest selection of styles, colors and finishes to choose from anywhere around.
